If you are near Pittsburgh, you might want to head outside and scoop up a snowball and throw a few in your freezer.
You get to name your own price on the first day of Summer to get into Carnegie Science Center!
Here’s what they have on their Fackbook page:
“Did you save a snowball? If so, bring it into the Science Center on the first day of summer, Wednesday, June 20 and name your own admission price. The money that people choose to pay will support Carnegie Science Center’s programming in science, technology, engineering, and math (also known as STEM), encouraging kids to enjoy these fields and consider pursuing a career in one of them.
In addition to naming your own price, every person who brings a snowball to the Science Center on that day will be able to launch his or her snowball into the Ohio River from aboard the USS Requin submarine (weather permitting).”Thanks Lady Savings for the heads up
